African Engineering Education Association (AEEA)

The 3rd African Regional Conference on Engineering Education (ARCEE) in 2006 lead to the establishment of the African Engineering Education Association (AEEA). Its main objective is to promote engineering education in Africa.


American Society for Engineering Education

Founded in 1893, the American Society for Engineering Education is a non-profit organization of individuals and institutions committed to furthering education in engineering and engineering technology.


Australasian Association for Engineering Education (AAEE)

The Australasian Association for Engineering Education, AAEE (a technical society of Engineers Australia), is a professional association of academics, support staff, postgraduate students, librarians, professional engineers, and employers who all have vested interests in fostering excellence and innovation in engineering education.


Canadian Engineering Education Association (CEEA)

The Canadian Engineering Education Association (CEEA) is a new organization with a mission to "enhance the competence and relevance of graduates from Canadian Engineering schools through continuous improvement in engineering education and design education."


Australasian Association for Engineering Education (AAEE)

China Association for Science and Technology (CAST)

The China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) is the largest national non-governmental organization of scientific and technological workers in China.


Education for Engineering (E4E)

Education for Engineering is a body through which engineering professions offers coordinated advice on education and skills policy to UK government and the devoted Assemblies as well as dealing with all aspects of learning that underpin engineering. Education for Engineering works to inform education policy and practice by initiating and contributing to policy debates, providing decision makers with high quality information and analysis, ensuring that all learners are enabled to make connections across areas of learning that support and education for engineering, and highlight the needs of future engineers and routes into engineering that are open to all.


Engineers Australia

Engineers Australia is the national peak body for all engineering disciplines. It works with government, industry and tertiary education providers to promote engineering as a discipline, and the professional development of our members.


European Civil Engineering Education and Training (EUCEET) Association

EUCEET Association invites all stakeholders with civil engineering education and training, including universities and other higher education institutions, student associations, national and international civil engineering societies, construction and consulting companies. The main objective of the association is to promote cooperation among stakeholders in order to encourage good practices in civil engineering education and training.


European Society for Engineering Education (SEFI)

Engineers Australia is the national peak body for all engineering disciplines. It works with government, industry and tertiary education providers to promote engineering as a discipline, and the professional development of our members.


Federation of Engineering Institutions of Asia and the Pacific (FEIAP)

The Federation of Engineering Institutions of Asia and the Pacific (FEIAP) is an international non-profit professional organization. The objectives of FEIAP are to encourage the application of technical progress to economic and social advancement throughout the world; to advance engineering as a profession in the interest of all people; and to foster peace throughout the world.


Hong Kong Institution of Engineers

The Engineering Society of Hong Kong was founded in 1947 with the aim of bringing together engineers of different disciplines for their common good.


Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE-USA)

A non-profit organization, IEEE is the world's leading professional association for the advancement of technology. The IEEE name was originally an acronym for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. Today, the organization's scope of interest has expanded into so many related fields, that it is simply referred to by the letters I-E-E-E.


Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE-HK) Hong Kong Section

The IEEE Hong Kong Section was formed on December 14, 1971. It aims to connect its members to the world and help them to follow closely the progress in electrical and electronic engineering. The society also organizes conference, seminars, lectures, student paper competition, technical visits and non-technical activities to help its members to brush up new development and build up their network.


International Association for Continuing Engineering Education (IACEE)

A non-profit and non-governmental international organization aiming to support and enhance lifelong engineering education and training world-wide, including the special needs of the developing countries.


International Federation of Engineering Education Societies (IFEES)

The society will work to establish effective engineering education processes of high quality around the world to assure a global supply of well-prepared engineering graduates; strengthen member organizations and their capacity to support faculty and students; attract corporate participation in helping to connect engineering gradates with international corporations that have a pressing need for well-trained engineers who can work in a global environment; enhance the ability of engineering faculty, students and practitioners to understand the varied cultures of the world and work effectively in them. 


International Network for Engineering Education and Research (INEER)

A non-profit based global professional organization formed by the world engineering community to promote mutual progress in teaching and learning through international co-operation at Potomac, Maryland. Their mission is to seek to promote the development of international understanding and partnership through information sharing. The widening network of educators and researchers cover 98 countries, and is linked through the INEER website, archival publications, electronic communication system and various conferences, workshops and retreats.  


International Society for Engineering Education (IGIP)

The International Society for Engineering Education (IGIP) has dedicated its effort to increase international cooperation with other engineering societies such as IEEE Education Society, ASEE, SEFI, and IFEES. Some of its aims include improving methods of teaching in technical subjects, developing curricula that is more practical and corresponds to students' and employers' needs, integrating languages and the humanities in engineering education, and supporting the development of engineering education in developing countries.


International Technology and Engineering Educators Association (ITEEA)

ITEEA is a professional organization for technology, innovation, design, and engineering educators. Their mission is to promote technological literacy for all by supporting the teaching of technology and engineering; promoting and nurturing the professionalism of those engaged in these pursuits; seeking to meet the professional needs and interests of members and improve public understanding of technology, innovation, design, and engineering education and its contributions.   


National Academy of Engineering of the National Academies

The National Academy of Engineering (NAE) was founded in 1964, a private, independent, nonprofit institution that provides engineering leadership in service to the nation, their mission is to promote the technological welfare of the nation by marshaling the knowledge and insights of eminent members of the engineering profession.


South African Society of Engineering Education (SASEE)

The society hopes to accomplish the goal of preparing people to practice engineering as a profession, spread technological literacy, and increase student interest in technical careers through science and math education and hands-on learning. Some of its objectives include promoting the development of a database on all aspects of engineering education within South Africa, encouraging local, national, and international collaboration through hosting forums in the field of engineering education, advancing engineering education in theory and in practice, promoting research in the field of engineering education and the development of new teaching methodologies and measurement of teaching effectiveness.


Society of Engineering Education Malaysia (SEEM)

The Society for Engineering Education Malaysia (SEEM) was founded in 2007 and was launched on February 23, 2009. Since the establishment of SEEM, SEEM has dedicated its effort to actively promote engineering education in Malaysia through co-organizing conferences, seminars, and public talks that are international or regional. The main purpose of the society is to contribute to the development of engineering education and education in science and technology including pedagogy, counseling, research, service and public relations.


World Institute for Engineering and Technology Education (WIETE)

Although established as a company incorporated in the State of Victoria, Australia, it was founded after the closure of the UNESCO International Centre For Engineering Education. Their mission is to develop and maintain an independent global network of individuals and institutions concerned with the quality of engineering and technology education. It seeks to promote international collaboration and dissemination of information on research and development in the academic endeavor.
